Aboriginal Marine Services Indigenous Corporation is an Aboriginal owned and operated Not for Profit Public Benevolent Institute registered under ORIC. AMSIC has successfully designed and delivered Indigenous tailored training programs for the resource sector for over 50 Indigenous candidates.
Each of our training programs achieved over 98% pass and completion rates and this translated into a 96% retention rate into full time employment.
AMSIC are leading innovators of high-quality training and employment outcomes which integrates cultural understanding with industry skills, creating sustainable opportunities for Indigenous workers in the resource services sector.
We believe culture, support and safety are paramount and we deliver cultural awareness training to all non-Indigenous staff and contractors. AMSIC also provides a holistic mentoring and support service to all of our trainees through our experienced Indigenous Mentors.
iMarine Services Pty Ltd
Our vessel-contracting arm, iMarine provides Indigenous content and opportunities for our clients that deliver on time, on budget and with the highest standards of professionalism.
iMarine formed a joint venture with Hedland Launch Services PtyLtd and established a 50/50 JV company HLSiMarine Pty Ltd, which successfully provided marine services in Port Hedland from 2016 to 2017.
iMarine Shareholders and Directors have strong financial backgrounds and extensive contacts in relevant maritime industries.
